How this page is made

We show our work

Every story on Yipi! says where it came from, because a recommendation you can't trace is just an advert with better manners.

1

It starts with what people already said

Picks are drawn from local press, awards and public coverage, and each one names its source. Where we could not verify a source, the pick carries no citation and the page makes no claim about one.

2

We ask before we show someone

A member's name and face appear only while they have given consent for it, and withdrawing that consent removes them immediately. Counts are unaffected — how many people are in a circle is a fact about the circle, not about any one member.

3

We say when AI helped

Stories drafted with AI assistance are marked as such, and carry a disclosure in the brand's own words shown with the story. Our AI pipeline sets that mark itself, so it does not depend on anyone remembering. Stories written by a person carry no mark.

What we always do

  • Follow AP Style as the baseline authority
  • Use clear, descriptive headlines that stand alone without surrounding context
  • Keep paragraphs to 2–4 sentences maximum for digital readability
  • Distinguish opinion clearly from fact
  • Attribute claims where necessary
  • Ground every claim in verified source material
  • Keep each section self-contained and quotable
  • Name the city, neighborhood, or region explicitly in the body — not just the meta

What we never do

  • Use unsupported claims or hype language
  • Use ALL CAPS or excessive punctuation
  • Invent details, dialogue, or outcomes
  • Infer emotion or motivation that is not explicitly stated
  • Add unverifiable superlatives without attribution
  • Assume reader knowledge — always add context

Claims that require evidence

  • best
  • top-rated
  • leading
  • award-winning
  • fastest-growing
  • most trusted
  • most said

Before we publish

  • Every claim is traceable to a specific piece of verified source material
  • No detail has been added that does not appear in the source
  • Quotes are accurate and shown in proper context
  • Any uncertainty is acknowledged with qualifying language
  • Local relevance is stated explicitly — city, neighborhood, or region named in the body
  • All superlatives are attributed or clearly framed as brand positioning
  • AP Style conventions are followed throughout
  • Headlines and subheadings stand alone without surrounding context
  • Paragraphs are 2–4 sentences maximum
  • Sponsored or partner content is clearly labeled
  • AI-assisted content has been reviewed against source material
